SKILLS DEVELOPMENT FACILITATOR: COMMUNITY LEARNING & SKILLS TRAINING

  • Task Grade: 12 (Subject to Job Evaluation results)
  • Annual Basic Salary: (R 455 523,66 – R 591 290,53) excluding benefits
  • Position to be stationed in Mthatha, Eastern Cape
  • Reports to Manager Organizational Development, Learning & Skills Training

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration or Human Resource Development
  • Certificate in computer literacy
  • Certificate in Youth Development, Local Government Finance or Management will be an added advantage
  • Code EB Driving License
  • 3 years’ experience in Community Leadership and Mobilisation

Key Performance Areas:

  • Identifying the immediate and short-term objectives associated with Education, Training and Development
  • Contributing to the sub-section’s policies, Procedures, Systems and Controls
  • Coordinating and implementing the training of O.R. Tambo Councillors, Traditional Leaders, Ward Committees and Community sector groups
  • Coordinating the section’s stakeholder management and communication processes
  • Controlling the Key Performance Areas and outcomes of the sub-section
  • Facilitating the whole process of accessing all the Grants such as Discretionary Grants from LGSETA and other SETAs including private sector
  • Collating and preparing qualitative and quantitative information for inclusion into specific statutory reports.
